When It’s Cold Outside, The Georgia Aquarium will Do Just Fine

I woke up early in the morning yesterday. I was still feeling sick from a lingering cold that I have had for almost a week now. However, I was ready for an indoor adventure in Atlanta. We sat down for breakfast and explored some indoor options that would be fun for adults as well as children. The options are always aplenty over here. After 30 minutes of deliberation, we decide to go to the Georgia aquarium to see their newest attraction….the dolphin show.

As is always the case, Saturday is my daughter’s bailey lessons at the famous Studio Dione. It is a great place for any kind of dance and music lessons. She had been going to the studio since she was three. She definitely enjoys the interaction and also attends summer camps there.

After the bailey lesson we drove down to the aquarium. It was around 12 noon and we decided to grab some lunch at Johnny Rockets. It’s a hamburger joint right outside the aquarium. We love this place. It is relatively cheap for this party of town. You can get a hamburger filled with delicious jalopenas for fewer than 10 bucks. Mine was incredibly delicious.

I was about to forget: once you get in you will receive some tokens for the junk boxes to choice your own songs while there. We choose the Lions in the Jungle Sleeps Tonight otherwise known as Awamba Way and Home Sweet Alabama. The songs actually came on while we were still eating. Cool!

We left Johnny rockets and got into the aquarium by 1pm. We checked out the river scouts exhibit, the Baluga whale exhibit and the African Penguins’ exhibits. After we went through these three exhibits it was time for us to head to the big show. The at&t dolphin show. It was hilarious. I have been to many of these dolphins’ shows from the sea world’s Shamu show to the Baltimore aquarium dolphins’ show. The Georgia Aquarium dolphin show rank close or same as the Shamu dolphin show at Sea World.

If you are in town go see it. It is worth all the money.
